I decided that a problem that needs to be addressed using my key insights that I have learned is equality in sports. Throughout my experiences, I have noticed how unequal sports are when it comes to gender. I am a real big golf fan and have been playing since I was the age of 6 years old. I have always loved swinging clubs and going to golf tournaments with my dad. I am currently an 8.3 handicap, so I take golf very seriously. When I am able to work in the golf industry, I would utilize my personal brand, my positive attitude, and my personal and professional relationship skills to assess this problem and do everything in my power to change it.

First, I believe that my personal brand can help push the equality narrative very well. I believe that I can take on any challenge thrown at me, and because of my hard work ethic, I can reach out to as many resources to push for equality. I would reach out to every equality drive group within a 100-mile radius of my golf organization to get noticed by the media, to take these elite groups controlling the imbalance of attention for each gender. I would use my positive attitude to not take no for an answer and push the boundaries in order to ensure equality. I believe we need more female leaders in power for some of these organizations, and this will move the chains. I would utilize all of my personal and professional connections to extend to anyone they can to start a movement and push for more media attention and broadcasting for women's sports. I would organize fundraisers and events to bring the community together to create a movement. I would find private funders to fund these women in sports and offer them the same opportunities men get.

In order to analyze if these plans are working, we would collect statistics on pay rate changes and check in on fundraising to make sure we are on track to our goal. My colleagues in each sport will give me monthly statements on pay increase/decrease, media rights updates, and times of air for their women's sports, and any extra discrepancies brought up from the players of the organizations they represent.

I hope to learn that if you put your mind to something, you can achieve it. I believe with this thorough plan we can change the inequality in sports and make everyone feel equal when they are playing what they love. I believe that any organization I work for would be glad with my plans to expand sports and to make them as equal as possible.
